Dori was born and raised on the west side of Cincinnati. She went to McAuley High School then moved to Columbus to attend The Ohio State University. While living in Columbus, Dori graduated with a degree in social science, worked in the service industry and worked with individuals with disabilities. Her passion for helping others brought her back to Cincinnati to work as a case manager for Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities. She strives at working well with a team and getting results.

She returned to Cincinnati in 2008 and bought her first house. After marrying her husband in 2011, Dan, they decided to rent the home. They are currently living in the Colerain/Dent area of Cincinnati. They have two school age daughters. She left her job when Molly was born to stay home and raise her daughters. She enjoys attending their school activities and volunteering at their school. Dori enjoys playing sand volleyball with friends, camping and vacationing to the beach.  She is an avid Ohio State Football fan!
